        Mutualism and evolution of plants and pollinators, biodiversity and evolution of phytophagous insects (especially leaf-miners), natural history of coastal envirionments, conservation of biodiversity and ecosystem
      • Overview of the research

        The nature of the earth is characterized by the exceptionally high biodiversity of flowering angiosperms and phytopbetween plants and pollinators contributed to the diversification of the plants, (2) how the mutualism caused diversity of them, (3) how the phytophagous insects have diversified by competing with the plants and natural enemies. Moreover, because I have collected shells in walking along pure shore lines in my childhood, I am still interested in biodiversity, ecology and symbiotic interactions of coastal organisms. By integrating these studies, I would like to contribute to conservation of biodiversity and ecosystem.
