      • Overview of the research

        We perform structural analysis and electronic structural analysis of the local region of the crystal using a method combining high-resolution electron microscopy and electron energy loss spectroscopy. In particular, we strive to elucidate the structure and chemical bonding state of the solid internal interface and defect area of functional materials including transition metal oxides.
