      Research Topics, Overview of the research

      • Research Topics

        Nowadays, as the distinction between research fields decreases, a higher degree of collaboration is required. In this laboratory, in order to satisfy these requirements we have been studying fundamental technology for developing a practical environment for supporting remote collaboration. Our focus is more on those which produce large scale data sets such as those generated by using numerical simulations or scientific instruments. Due to this focus, we are also studying parameter optimization techniques using numerical simulation results for improved precision.
      • Overview of the research

        We are doing a research on fused visualization techniques which can integrate various kind of object data, such as volumes, surfaces, lines, and points, in order to facilitate an inspiration which can be connected to a problem-finding.
