      • Overview of the research

        I am studying phenomena where singularities propagate over time. In particular, my goal is to investigate mathematical properties of solutions to parabolic and hyperbolic equations with free boundary and of interfaces moving according to some geometric law. Such equations arise as gradient flows or stationary points of non-smooth, non-convex functionals. Moreover, I would like to apply these results to modeling and understanding various physical phenomena, such as droplets, crystals or cells.
