  台湾キリスト教史、近代キリスト教宣教運動史

• 研究概要

  日本植民地支配下台湾（1895-1945）のキリスト教思想史・植民地史を、スコットランド人宣教師キャンベル・N・ムーディ（1865-1940）の宣教事業と、台湾基督長老教会の聖職者・信徒らの台湾人教会自治運動の相互関係の中で追ってきた。個人の思想形成や家族関係の問題を含むライフヒストリーを通して、スコットランド人／台湾人それぞれの周縁性や植民地経験、それがキリスト教思想の形成・再認識にどのように関わったのかを明らかにすることを試みている。
