      • Overview of the research

        Magnetic storms are one of the largest phenomena that occur in the near-earth space. The magnetic storms are characterized by the ring current. By conducting empirical research based on simulation and observation, I am investigating the magnetic storms and auroras from the view point of the ring current and its coupling to the ionosphere.
