Development of optimal radiotherapy and irradiation techniques in patients with primary and metastatic brain tumors
Overview of the research
Radiotherapy plays an important role in the treatment of primary and metastatic brain tumors. Neurological symptoms and the decline in quality of life can be occurred due to the local recurrence or toxicities of radiotherapy in patients with brain tumors. Therefore, the improvement of local control and reduction of radiation toxicities are needed. The aim of my research is to develop optimal radiotherapy and irradiation techniques in patients with brain tumors by analyzing the clinical outcomes and dose distribution.
