Overview of the research
The current research activities of myself could be classified into three fields of study. The first is to illustrate the current situation and its historical formation of Buddhism and societies in mainland Southeast Asia. The second is to explore the future path of rural communities in Asia with considering some serious problems such as depopulation and abandon of agriculture in rural areas. The third is the comparative study of the creation of the public sphere in post-conflict societies.
