Liquid-phase synthesis, characterization, and application of porous materials
Overview of the research
Through the synthesis of novel porous materials by liquid-phase processes, typically the sol-gel process, and various characterizations of resultant materials, applications of these materials are explored. Recent interest concentrates on studies on soft/flexible porous materials based on organic-inorganic hybrids and their applications to thermal superinsulators.
