Volcanic and hydrometeorological hazard research using weather radar, numerical modeling, high-performance computing, and integrated observations to understand atmospheric processes and improve hazard prediction
Overview of the research
My research aims to bridge atmospheric science and volcanology by integrating observations, including weather radar, with numerical simulations and high-performance computing. Through this approach, I seek to better understand atmospheric processes associated with volcanic eruptions and hydrometeorological hazards and to develop more realistic and reliable methods for hazard assessment and prediction.
