  主要作物であるイネ、コムギ、ダイズ等における有用遺伝子の探索と同定に関する遺伝育種学的研究

• Overview of the research

  主要作物、イネ、コムギ、ダイズ等の育種を行う上で必要な遺伝子情報の集積を目的として有用遺伝子の探索と同定を行う。その際、細胞遺伝学、アイソザイム分析、分子遺伝学、プロテオーム分析など各分野で開発された時々の先端的手法を応用した解析を行っている。これまでに、コムギにおけるゲノム改変の際に必要な染色体領域や早生化遺伝子素材の発見、ダイズにおける発芽時冠水抵抗性QTLの連鎖マーカーの開発、イネおける活性型トランスポゾンの世界に先駆けた発見、などの成果をあげてきた。
