        Chain-Growth Polymerization and Novel Polymer Synthesis Based Main-Group Elements
      • Overview of the research

        My research interest is the development of novel vinyl monomer for chain growth polymerization based on main-group element. I have discovered radical polymerization ability of alkenylboronic acid derivatives, providing vinyl polymers bearing boron on the main chain. Furthermore, C-B bond transformation for synthesis of conventionally inaccessible polymers and development of boron-based polymer function are also undertaken.
