      • Overview of the research

        Regeneration and transformation of mesenchymal tissues are main theme of my laboratory. Although these two theme seem to be completely different, they share many important issues, and we are trying to incorporate results in one field to the other, making dynamic promotion of each research field. I also work in Kyoto University Hospital as an orthopaedic surgeon, and try to connect needs from clinical field with seeds from basic sciences.
