- 【教育】学部教育では、保健師としての基礎的な技術や考え方をしっかり身につけられるよう、時間をかけて丁寧に指導することを大切にしています。特に、データの見方や分析の方法を確実に学び、それを地域診断に活かせる力を育むことが重要だと考えています。
  大学院教育では、正確な研究手法を学ぶだけでなく、研究に取り組む姿勢や、現場への還元についても一緒に考えていけるような研究者の育成を目指しています。大学院生とともに刺激を受け合いながら、新たな研究の芽を見つけていきたいと思っています。
- 【研究：海外にツールのある人々の健康増進に関する研究】
  海外にルーツを持つ人々の健康増進を目指し、疫学的手法を中心に、さまざまなアプローチを用いた研究を行っています。主な研究テーマは以下のとおりです。これらを柱として、多角的に研究を進めています。
  ① 国内に居住するベトナム出身者のメンタルヘルスの実態を明らかにする研究（横断研究・コホート研究）
  ② 在日外国人のメンタルヘルス予防を目的としたソフトウェアなどのデバイス開発（介入研究）
  ③ 在日外国人と日本人における認知、幸福感や孤独感の捉え方の違いに関する記述的研究
  ④ オープンデータを用いた地域相関研究

- 【研究：保健師活動の保健事業評価研究】保健所や保健センターなどで活動する保健師が直面している課題（母子保健、成人保健など）や、潜在的な課題に対して、現場と連携しながら研究を進めています。
- 【研究：東南アジア諸国をフィールドとした保健事業評価研究】フィリピン現地（ムンティンルパ市）において、母子保健に関する健康課題の調査を2011年から2020年にかけて実施しました。産後ケアや自宅出産の課題、鉄欠乏性貧血の現状およびその社会経済的要因について、現地のヘルスセンターや病院と協働しながら調査を行いました。フィールド調査を通じて、フィリピン国内における健康格差や、現地の医療職・保健ボランティアの果たす重要な役割を実感することができました。現地の多くの方々のご協力をいただき、調査を進めることができました。
