        Fundamental studies on water issues in rural areas
      • Overview of the research

        In rural areas, there are different water related problems including floods, droughts, pollution, and deterioration of ecosystems. Modern scientific methodologies including the fluid dynamics and the control theories are applied to those problems in the context of human activities. Construction of fundamental methodologies is propelled with mathematical analysis, numerical and hydraulic experiments, as well as field observations and surveys.
