      Main field of my research is biopharmaceutics, especially in the development of drug delivery system. Regarding to education, my goal is to help graduate students acquire the aboility of thinking and practical skills needed to perform research by my guidance.

        Development of therapeutic system by DDS of nucleic acids and genes
      • Overview of the research

        I started my research based on the consideration that gene therapy and oligonucleotide-based therapy can be an effective therapeutic treatment against refractory disease. To improve therapeutic effect in gene therapy, I designed the vector encoding therapeutic protein. Recently, my research focuses on the development of delivery system using cell-derived small particles such as exosomes.
