        1. Optimization of bio-economic production efficiency and reduction of environmental loads in animal production systems, 2. Behavioral and physiological analyses of animals using several sensing technologies
      • Overview of the research

        In the first study "1. Optimization of bio-economic production efficiency and reduction of environmental loads in animal production systems", we investigate the methods to optimize animal productions biologically, economically and environmentally-friendly using several simulation models developed for animal production systems. In the second study "2. Behavioral and physiological analyses of animals using several sensing technologies", by collecting and analyzing sensor data from loggers attached to animals, such as accelerometers and heart rate monitors, we provide basic behavioral and physiological information that can be useful for animal managements. Furthermore, we try to develop new sensing technologies for animal production systems.
