        Theory and simulation for turbulent transport in fusion plasma
      • Overview of the research

        My major is the theory and simulation of turbulent transport in magnetically confined fusion plasma to realize fusion energy. I make a specialty of large-scale highly parallelized simulation based on super computer. Global turbulent transport processes are studied by means of first-principle code of our own making. Main topics are (1)Development of full-f gyrokinetic code for large-scale highly parallelized simulation, (2)Internal transport barrier formation in tokamak plasma, (3)Entropy dynamics in tokamak plasma as open system, (4)Estimate of global turbulent transport and profile formation by global gyrokinetic simulation and neural network.

        本研究では、ハイブリッド電子モデルを実装した GKNET を用いて熱源駆動型 ITG/TEM 乱流輸送シミュレーションを行った結果、反転磁気シア配位において外部からの運動量入射を必要としない内部輸送障壁の自発形成に成功した。これはロバストな順方向の自発回転が q_min 面に駆動され、力学的平衡を介して径電場とバランスすることで定常的に径電場シアが保持されることに拠るものであり、電子加熱によってそのシアが更に増大されることも併せて明らかとなった。
