      I am conducting research on solid-state chemistry and materials science. As for education, I carry out some lectures for undergraduate students and supervise graduate students through research activities in my laboratory.

        1. Synthesis, structural analysis, and physical properties of magnetic and dielectric oxides

        3. Preparation and characterization of novel meta-optical materials
      • Overview of the research

        Novel oxide crystals and amorphous oxides are synthesized by solid-state, liquid-phase, or gas-phase reactions. Structural analysis is carried out by using diffraction techniques and spectroscopies. Physical properties are measured and the mechanism to give rise to the properties ie clarified based on the electronic structures. Also, several nanostructures are fabricated for metals and conductive oxides and nitrides, and their plasmoinc properties are revealed.
