        Interaction of plasma with matter: hydrogen recycling in fusion devices
      • Overview of the research

        Plasma-surface interactions and its application to the thermonuclear fusion. In fusion, the plasma wall interactions, hydrogen retention and recycling, and impurity transport - all play essential role in the device operation. In order to develop sufficient understanding of such phenomena,research which combines spectroscopic and other methods of analysis is required. I am working on the impurity transport investigations, characterization of the hydrogen isotopes flows in the edge plasma and their effect on the core plasma of fusion devices.
