        Characterization of nuclear fuels and materials, development of high-performance thermoelectric materials, materials development by Materials Informatics
      • Overview of the research

        To contribute to the improvement of safety and economy of nuclear reactors, I study the thermal and mechanical properties of nuclear fuels and materials. I develop non-toxic and inexpensive high-performance thermoelectric materials that enables us to generate electricity directly from waste heat. I'm working on “Materials Informatics”, which is an integrated area of information science and materials science.
