        Establishment of biorefinery system by supercritical fluid technologies and plasma chemistry
      • Overview of the research

        Annual biomass accumulation by photosynthesis on land (mainly in forest regions) corresponds to about 4~5 times of the global primary energy demand. We can replace fossil resources with biomass even if we use a part of them. Our ultimate goal is to establish a sustainable biomass-based society instead of the current petroleum-based society.
