        Hydrological and sediment transport processes in channel networks and hillslopes of mountain basins
      • Overview of the research

        Various types of sediment transport by water can cause sediment related disasters in mountain regions. Assessing hydrological and sediment transport processes contribute disaster mitigation as well as watershed management. I have studied hillslope hydrological processes related to sediment production such as landslide and erosion based on field observations. My recent research interest is accurate monitoring of sediment transport rate in channel networks during extreme flood events. I struggle a new measurement approach to measure sediment transport rate in mountain rivers.
