Experimental research on fundamental processes and advanced applications related to nuclear resonance scattering and absorption by particle beams, synchrotron X-rays and γ-rays
Overview of the research
The main target is experimental research on fundamental processes and application related to nuclear resonance scattering and absorption by synchrotron X-rays and γ-rays. Specifically, we study advanced nuclear resonance scattering and absorption spectroscopy directed to research such as generation of ultra-high resolution coherent γ rays and the application to materials and life sciences. In addition, we are conducting research on the magnetism, electronic structure, superconductors, etc. extending from meV to neV energy range using these new spectroscopic methods. Moreover, we study basic research on coherent X-ray radiation using high-energy electron beams.
