• Overview of the research

  To understand the birth of the universe and the physics of the blackhole, it is necessary to unify general relativity and quantum theory (quantum gravity), but it is still difficult. An important direction for resolution is to assume spacetime is not fundamental, namely, it is spontaneously generated from other fundamental degrees of freedom. I study quantum gravity by this emergence picture of spacetime, using tensor models. I also study mathematical aspects of tensors by studying for instance the eigenvalue/vector distributions of random tensors by using quantum field theories.
