      • Overview of the research

        融液からの凝固・結晶成長は、材料の特性を発現させるために重要なプロセスですが、 高温・光学的不透明などの理由により未解明の現象が少なくありません。 本研究室では、時間分解X線イメージングなどの実験手法を開発し、金属合金を中心に凝固組織形成の素過程を実証的に 解明し、物理モデルの構築・シミュレーションにより検証を行い、新しい組織制御手法や材料プロセスの開発を目指しています。
        また、物質の磁場などの外場に対する応答性を顕在化させ、材料プロセスに応用する原理の構築から、 結晶が高次に配向した組織などを実現する新しい材料プロセッシングに関する研究を行っています。
