Erosion and failure of soil structures,Inverse analysis for irrigation stuructures
Overview of the research
Numerical and experimental studies on soil mechanics are conducted, and design, construction, and management of agricultural water facilities are investigated. The former mainly focuses on erosion of soil in which soil-water interaction is dominant, while the latter is concerned with the advancement of numerical and analytical methods for health monitoring of structures not only by forward analysis but also inverse analysis.
