      • Overview of the research

        My research is generally in the areas of resources, energy and sustainability. Typically this research considers the Energy-X-Nexus (where X is a type of resource, e.g. minerals, water, etc.). Resource criticality, particularly in relation to sustainable development of energy systems, and with considerations of the current and future environmental impacts and social equity implications are the current focus, including emerging technologies such as deep ocean mining.
