kyoto-u.ac.jp千葉大学大学院医学薬学府先進予防医学共同専攻修了、博士(医学)。シャリテ医科大学(ベルリン)研究員、千葉大学予防医学センター特任研究員、東京大学先端科学技術研究センター特任助教を得て現職。専門は社会疫学で、健康の社会的決定要因や暴力の社会的決定要因の解明を進めている。現在は、都市と健康、ウェルビーイング、暴力、ストレスとの関連について研究を展開している。
Chie Koga, PhD, is a Program-Specific Senior Lecturer at the Institute for the Future of Human Society, Kyoto University. Her research lies at the intersection of social epidemiology and preventive medicine, with a strong interest in elucidating the social determinants of violence across the life course. She is particularly committed to advancing violence epidemiology as a framework for understanding and preventing elder abuse and related health outcomes. After earning her PhD from Chiba University, she completed a short internship at the World Health Organization in Geneva in 2014, served as a Project Assistant Professor at the University of Tokyo, and subsequently assumed her current position.
