        Quantum has mysterious properties such as the uncertainty principle, no-cloning, and the principle of superposition, which are not found in classical theory. We are studying how to make good use of them for high-speed computation (quantum computation) and for realizing sophisticated cryptographic tasks (quantum cryptography).
