      • Overview of the research

        高強度・高延性の両立が構造材料において第一の目標であり、その実現のために様々な研究が従来から活発に成されていた。しかし強度と延性は一般的にトレードオフの関係にあり、両立は困難である。しかし、従来には破壊の起点となりうるため忌避していた介在物を積極的に利用することにより、強度・延性バランスが大きく改善されることが近年分かり始めている。本研究では材料の不均一さの定量化とともにマクロ・ミクロ不均一変形と力学特性の関係を明確にすることを目的とする。
