        Study on mechanical properties of nano/micro-sized materials
      • Overview of the research

        It is known that materials with micrometer to nanometer dimensions exhibit specific properties that differ from those of bulk materials. I investigate the strength, deformation and fracture mechanisms, and multi-physics properties (coupling effects between mechanical properties and other properties) of micron- and nano-sized structures by experiments in electron microscopes with in-situ observation.
