      • Overview of the research

        By elucidating the molecular mechanisms by which glycoside hydrolases (GHs) from gut microbiota—particularly Bifidobacteria—degrade the glycans present in intestinal mucus mucins, we aim to deepen our understanding of the symbiotic relationship between gut microbes and the human host.
