        RNA editing in plant orgaenelles
      • Overview of the research

        DNA genome of plant mitochondria and chloroplasts contain many "mistakes" where Ts are substituted by Cs. These mistakes were corrected after transcription of RNA by RNA editing. We are analyzing molecular mechanism of the RNA editing in plant organelles using genetics, biochemistry and structural biology.
