      • Overview of the research

        Integration of various features is essential in our understanding of the world. I am studying mechanisms of information integration in cognition from a broad perspective. Originally, I started my research career from feature integration in visual perception. Then, I extended the topics including, feature integration in visual memory, integration of perceptual and memorial information in search behavior, and information integration in group decision making. I am also interested in cultural differences in cognition and their underlying mechanisms.
