• Profile

  世界中には様々な動物が様々な環境に適応してくらしています。わたしは霊長類の研究をとおして、動物がどのように進化して現在の生息環境へと適応していったのかを明らかにすることに興味があります。南米アマゾンの森にくらす野生クモザルの研究をしたのち、東南アジアのボルネオ島の固有種であるテングザルの研究を2005年より開始しました。現在はテングザルの研究に加え、東アフリカのウガンダの熱帯林にくらすアビシニアコロブスの研究もしています。
