Cancer treatment in gynecologic field, especially cancer immunotherapy, molecular target therapy and precision medicine. 2) Gynecologic cancer biology including comprehensive genome-wide analysis and AI analysis
Overview of the research
I have been studying gynecologic cancer biology for more than 20 years. One of my specialties is cancer immunology, which I started from 2000 in NIH. I launched immunotherapy project for ginecologic cancer, and conducted first in the world clinical trial using anti-PD-1 antibody for recurrent ovarian cancer. Besides, I have conducted various analysis to associate cancer imunology and genome-wide analysis in gynecologic cancers. Recently, I am also trying to apply machine learning for comprehensive analysis of immunological status of each gynecologic cancer case.
