From the perspective of landscape conservation, planning, and design, I interpret local history, culture and landscape, and study ways to create comprehensive urban/reginal development that takes advantage of their cultural characteristics and resourcefulness.
I conduct research on practical methodologies of landscape design from the following perspectives : Clarification of the origins and formation mechanisms of urban/rural landscapes, their application to cultural resource management, and the design of community-based management processes.
