        Precise control and structure-specific properties of inorganic nanoparticles
      • Overview of the research

        Toward the development of the innovative energy functions (room temperature single electron transport, high efficiency photon concentration, long-lived charge separation, magnetic exchange coupling, visible light-driven overall water splitting), we control the primary structure (particle size, shape, composition, phase segregation) and the secondary structure (spatially ordered structure) of inorganic nanoparticles (metal, metal chalcogenide, metal oxide) nanoparticles to tune the number of confined electrons, charge density, localized plasmon resonance wavelength, exciton lifetime, spin, and catalysis.
