Profile
Profile
My specialties are in Japanese linguistics (grammar theory) and Japanese language education. Recently, I have been engaged in the following research:
Descriptive research with a special focus on theoretical aspects, targeting modern Japanese. In particular, I am focused on a lexical semantic analysis of predicates known as attitude predicates that take embedded clauses.
Research on Japanese language education for academic purposes. Specifically, I aim to clarify the effective connection between Japanese language education and specialized education through a qualitative approach.

Overview of the research
I am actively involved in conducting descriptive research on modern Japanese, with a particular focus on its theoretical implications. In particular, I am interested in analyzing the lexical-semantic properties of attitude predicates that take embedded clauses. In addition, I am also developing research on Japanese language education according to the needs of university education at the time. Currently, I am mainly conducting research on Japanese language education for specific purposes.
