      • Overview of the research

        プラズマを対象として、電磁場と相互作用をする荷電粒子多体系中の波動ならびに粒子・運動量・エネルギー輸送、不安定性の基礎物理を明らかにする。特に、マイクロ波を利用した球状トカマクプラズマの形成実験を通して、経済的な核融合発電炉実現に寄与する。更に、種々のプラズマ物性を診断するための測定装置の開発を行なう。
