      • Research Topics

        My research field is mathematical analysis of partial differential equations related to fluid mechanics, such as the Navier-Stokes equations for viscous incompressible flows, the vorticity equations, etc. I am also interested in real analysis, Fourier analysis, and functional analysis, which are fundamental tools in studying partial differential equations.
      • Overview of the research

        My current research topics are:
        (1) Inviscid limit problem for viscous incompressible flows
        (2) Stability and instability of boundary layers in fluid dynamics,
        such as Prandtl boundary layer and Ekman boundary layer
        (3) Stability of viscous flows in two-dimensional exterior domains,
        such as Oseen flows and Lamb-Oseen flows
        (4) Mathematical analysis of flows around rotating obstacle
        (5) Study of nonlinear partial differential equations under scaling invariance
