      • Overview of the research

        There is a growing need for analysis and control of sophisticated mechanical systems taking into consideration not only an equilibrium state but also physical limitations. In addition, the need for precise analysis and control of complex environmental systems is also growing. In order to provide useful tools for analysis and control of sophisticated and complex dynamical systems, I am studying new control theory and efficient optimization algorithms to deal with fundamental difficulty of nonlinearities. These theory and algorithms are applicable to a wide variety of problems, and I aim to develop a new framework that can deal with not only control but also estimation, differential games, adaptation, and learning in a unified way.
