        Surface science, Electronic properties of low-dimensional materials
      • Overview of the research

        I research atomic structure and electronic properties of low-dimensional materials on crystal surfaces. I often utilize low-energy electron diffraction, surface X-ray diffraction, photoelectron spectroscopy and four-point probe electrical conductance measurement. I'm interested in phase transition, such as order-disorder and charge-density-wave transition, and the Rashba effect which derives spin-splitting of 2D electronic states.
