      • Research Topics

        Theory of condensed matter physics, quantum phenomena in many body systems, superconductivity, magnetism, transport phenomena, and topological quantum phases
      • Overview of the research

        I research theory of condensed matter physics with particular focus on strongly correlated electron systems (transition metal oxides, heavy fermions, etc), two-dimensional electron systems, and cold atom gas. The research interests include unconventional superconductivity in strongly correlated systems, topological superconductor/insulator, spintronics, multiferroics, optoelectronics, and Anderson localization. Recent interests have particularly focused on the exotic quantum phases induced by relativistic spin–orbit couplings.
