Scholarly Publishing in Japan History of Southeast Asian Studies in Japan based on the Bibliographic Analysis of Academic Journals
Overview of the research
In the era of globalization of scholarly publishing how should Japanese scholarly publishing be? I consider this through the experience as managing editor of CSEAS's two academic journals and four monograph series. I consider the history of Southeast Asian area studies in Japan through the analysis of articles carried in Center's academic journal, Tonan Ajia Kenkyu since its publication in 1953.
