        神経伝達や呼吸・代謝などの生体膜を反応の場とする生体機能の電気分析化学的解明とその利用
      • Overview of the research

        生体膜は呼吸・代謝や光合成といったエネルギー変換、選択的な物質輸送、情報伝達などの生体内における重要な反応の「場」として働いている。水相および膜内 (細胞の内外および膜中) で常に電気的中性の原理が成立することを考慮し、膜を介した電荷移動は目的としている反応と同時に共存イオンの共輸送あるいは対向輸送が生じることを電気化学的に解明してきた。また、溶融塩およびイオン液体中での重金属の酸化還元挙動についても研究してきた。
