        Prevention of osteoarthritis progression/ Development of evaluation and intervention methods for motor disfunction by dynamic image analysis
      • Overview of the research

        We investigate the mechanism of dysfunction and postural and gait disorder in patients with hip and knee osteoarthritis. We also investigate the causal relationship between them and disease progression by a prospective cohort study. This study suggests that excessive cumulative hip loading in daily life, the deterioration of standing posture, and the decrease in spinal mobility would be the risk factors for the progression of hip osteoarthritis.
