      細胞が外界からの刺激や自分自身の状態からどのような表現型を選択していくのかに興味を持っています。


      分裂酵母やヒト培養細胞を材料とし、蛍光プローブをもとにした定量イメージングから細胞運命決定にかかわる分子メカニズムを見出し、また、それを光遺伝学などを用いて構成的に理解することを目指しています。


      直近の興味は、細胞周期停止からの再開の運命決定機構、細胞周期の長さの決定機構やその進化についてです。
