Kyoto University Graduate Division Professor
Graduated from Tsinghua University, Beijing, China with B.S. (Dept. Applied Math.) and B.E. (Dept. Computer Science) degrees, then Kyoto University with M.E. degree and Doctor of Informatics degree (Graduate School of Informatics). He worked as an Assistant professor with Department of Engineering, Utsumoniya University, Senior Lecturer with Graduate School of Informatics, Kyoto University, Guest Professor with Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, an Associate Professor with Graduate School of Advanced Integrated Studies in Human Survivability, and now the current position. His research interests include interdisciplinary studies with a focus on information, including algorithms for graph/network problems, combinatorial optimizations, artificial intelligence (AI), life and wisdom. He is an active member for several leadership programs and international students programs of Kyoto University.
